Chad Heibein
Business Partner, Controller
As a business partner and company controller, Chad Heibein also co-manages the offices of Royal Reporting.  Chad commenced on a part-time basis with Royal Reporting after completing his schooling and also worked on a full-time basis in the management and operations of an accounting firm in Regina.   After gaining knowledge and experience in business accounting/bookkeeping, Chad joined Royal Reporting on a full-time basis in 2008 and has a proven track record in consistently and effectively delivering accounting services that enhance the company’s purpose and profitability.  As a business partner, Chad also performs project management duties for different transcription projects as time permits and assists in contract bidding and preparation.  There is no end to the duties performed by Chad in order to ensure the operations of the company run smoothly and efficiently.

Elaine Kokoski
Chief Operation’s Manager
With over 20 years of experience at Royal Reporting, Elaine has gained the experience and knowledge necessary to manage the entire operations of Royal Reporting.   There is no question asked that she cannot answer.  Over Elaine’s 20-year work history with Royal Reporting, she has been employed in numerous capacities commencing as an administration clerk, then moving to transcription and proofreading.  Elaine has also provided services to our clients as a recording technician and registrar.   Project management followed in relation to numerous contracts Royal Reporting was successful in obtaining.  She is now the Chief Operation’s Manager and oversees all aspects of the business, which includes assisting Lucille and Chad, bidding on different requests for the attendance of a court reporter or the transcription of audio recordings.  This also includes assisting in the bidding and creation of Request for Proposals, and the management of contracts throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.   She is also instrumental in assisting in the creation of certain comprehensive manuals for different contracts in order to have accuracy and consistency within all transcripts.

Krystle Palynchuk
Court Reporter
Court Transcription
Project Manager
Over the past 13 years, Krystle has provided her expertise and knowledge in relation to court reporting and transcription services.   She graduated in 2005 from  NAIT in Edmonton, Alberta with a Legal and Realtime Court Reporting Diploma commencing immediately thereafter as a court reporter with Royal Reporting.   In later years, Krystle was promoted to court reporting manager and continued to provide court reporting services when required.   In 2011 , Krystle transitioned into a further management position in relation to the production of court transcripts, civil and criminal.   She works in conjunction with her co-worker, Kari Short, managing one of Royal Reporting’s largest contracts.   This includes training and managing numerous transcriptionists and proofreaders ensuring the most efficient, accurate, and timely transcript is produced following all of the client’s guidelines.  Krystle’s skills and knowledge in the court reporting and transcription industry are second-to-none.

Rhonda Coombs
Transcription Services
Senior Project Manager
Rhonda joined Royal Reporting in 2009 after working as a legal assistant for 12 years with a prominent Regina law firm.  Rhonda’s extensive legal knowledge made her the perfect candidate for the position of Court Transcription Manager.  Rhonda first commenced with Royal Reporting in the legal transcription area learning all facets of transcribing and proofreading court transcripts.  Rhonda soon moved up into a management position and has been in that position soon after joining Royal Reporting.  Her transcription projects increased in size to the capacity in which she required assistance.  Rhonda manages, along with her co-worker, Megan Reynard, different contracts in relation to transcription of court-related cases which includes managing over 30 plus legal transcriptionists and proofreaders in order to ensure the most accurate transcript is produced within time periods requested by the clients.

Christine Evans
Court Reporting Production Manager
Transcript Services Project Manager
Christine commenced with Royal Reporting in 2006 as an administration clerk learning all facets of the business which enabled her to understand the day-to-day operations of the company.  She then moved into a management position in 2010.   Due to unforeseen circumstances, Christine left Royal Reporting; however, returned to be part of our team again in 2017.   With her knowledge and understanding of the company operations, she easily adapted to the new and evolving changes of Royal Reporting which consisted of new rules and procedures, new transcript requirements for court reporters, transcriptionists, and proofreaders, updated software programs, plus numerous other changes.  Christine is also working together with Chad, co-owner, in the business accounting/bookkeeping procedures.   Christine is the court reporting production manager and is also managing a transcription project.

Chantalle Stapleton
Court Reporter 
Trainer/Mentor
Chantalle graduated from the Edmonton Realtime Reporting Program at NAIT in 2011 commencing employment in Whitehorse, YK as a freelance court reporter.  Chantalle joined Royal Reporting in 2014 as an in-house court reporter.  She quickly moved up the chain and worked in the capacity of court reporting manager which included scheduling and managing court reporters ensuring all transcripts deadlines were met, transcripts were consistent, and accurate.   This also involved the management and scheduling of recording technicians.  Her knowledge and understanding of the court reporting industry and Case Catalyst software assisted greatly in hiring and training new court reporters.   With Royal Reporting expanding its operations in court reporting and transcription, in 2017, Chantalle transitioned into a newly-created position of trainer/mentor of graduating and newly hired court reporters, transcriptionists, and proofreaders.  Chantalle also works on different manuals in relation to court reporting and transcripts.   This includes developing instructional manuals and page templates in relation to specific  contracts as per Royal Reporting’s requirements.   In addition to these duties, she continues to provide court reporting which consists of real-time reporting for the deaf and hearing impaired.

Kari Short
Court Transcription
Project Manager
Kari commenced in 2015 as an administration clerk learning all of the duties required in a court reporting/transcription office.   With Kari’s eagerness to learn new duties, which included transcription of court-related cases, and with her education in English, Kari is now a full-time transcription project manager working on a large court contract alongside Krystle.  She is always extremely busy with the management, training, proofreading of verbatim transcripts.  Her attention to detail and dedication is important in the transcription industry.  Her management duties includes training of transcriptionists, monitoring transcript production and delivery, and ensuring that all due dates are adhered to.    Quality control and consistency in a transcript is paramount to both Kari and Krystle.    Kari is in contact with the client on a continuous basis ensuring there is no disruption in transcription services.

 Megan Reynard
Assistant Project Manager
Court Transcription
Megan’s prior experience in the service industry and dealing with customers made her the perfect candidate for administrative clerk position and dealing with Royal Reporting’s clients.  Megan joined Royal Reporting in 2016.   Her customer service skills were impeccable.   She would always complete her own tasks and then ask the project managers if they required assistance.   With an increase in court transcription, Megan quickly transitioned into assistant project manager and assists Rhonda Coombs with her court transcription projects.  Megan is now training to manage legal transcriptionists and proofreaders.  This involves quality control, and transcript delivery within specified due dates, ensuring all transcripts are transcribed into the proper format.   This also includes listening to inaudibles and reviewing transcripts for accuracy and having contact with the client on a daily basis.

Debra Diemert
Administration Clerk
Legal Transcriptionist
Debra is our newest team member commencing with Royal Reporting in 2017.  She is learning the operations of the company and currently training in the production of court  transcripts through digital audio recordings.  Debra manages the client booking system and converses through email or phone with the court reporters as to their specific assignments.    She assists all project managers and is eager to learn the operations of a court reporting and transcription company.   She has excellent organizational skills and has an excellent rapport with all members of the firm.   Debra will continue in the area of transcription and assignments until fully trained in all areas.  Debra is always open to learning new duties within Royal Reporting and is taking classes to improve her knowledge and skills in the industry.
